What is Find Playground?

Find Playground is the umbrella for a growing network of local playground discovery sites. We map every great playground in Europe and give each country its own dedicated site in the local language, with local cities, regions and equipment vocabulary. Whether you're searching for a sand pit in Copenhagen, a forest playground in Bavaria or a wheelchair-accessible park in Brussels, you land on a site built for your market - not a translated copy of someone else's.

We started in Denmark and are rolling out market by market. Every site shares the same map, the same filters and the same community standards, but each one feels local because the URLs, the cities and the language are.

Hosted in Europe, GDPR-first

Servers are inside the EU. Cookie consent defaults to deny. We only store what we need to run the service - name, email and your saved playgrounds. No tracking pixels from third-party ad networks.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account to browse?

No. The map, search and filters are open to everyone. You only need a free Google sign-in if you want to save favourites, write reviews or submit a new playground.

Is it really free?

Yes - no ads, no subscription, no premium upsell. We run this because we wanted a tool we'd use ourselves with our own kids.

How are playgrounds added?

Through two channels: user contributions reviewed by our team before publishing, and public-data imports from municipalities and OpenStreetMap. Every entry can be edited and improved by the community.

Where is my data stored?

Inside the EU, on servers compliant with GDPR. We use Google sign-in for authentication only - your name and email are stored locally, never resold or shared.

Why a different domain per country?

Local parents search in their own language with local words. 'Legeplads' beats 'playground' for Danish parents, 'speeltuin' beats 'playground' for Dutch ones. Per-country domains make the right site easy to find - and easy to remember.
